Forest Almond Flavour Review
A 2021 festive limited edition, almond flavoured. Light brown foam. Very almond-filled aroma, sweet and moderately intense. A bit of vanilla undertones in it. Hard to take it as a classic coffee smell, though, but generally agreeable. Dry and light-bodied, less sweet in taste compared to the aroma. Delicate notes of roastiness, with a slight saltiness that concentrates in the aftertaste. The almond flavoring is dominating this pod’s taste profile. Vague tones of cereals and a feeble milky acidity are also present. Neither is prominent, being at most an accompanying component to the almond’s flavor. Slightly bitter, a bit of vanilla tones when the coffee cools down, low intensity. A…

Forest Fruit Flavour Review
A 2021 festive limited edition pod, with a cherry flavoring. Light brown foam. Supremely sweet aroma, intensely of cherries. Hardly any trace of roastiness or any aspects that can classify the small as one of a typical coffee. Definitely an unique aroma. Medium bodied and somewhat dry, initially, the cherry flavor dominates the taste profile as with the aroma. Biscuits and cereals can be noticed, mostly in the aftertaste. A granularity in the mouthfeel makes this coffee taste like a “liquid cherry cake”, just much less sweet. It may resemble some candies with cherries or raspberries, and increasingly so when added some sugar to it. Perhaps surprisingly not high in…

Coconut Flavor Over Ice Review
A limited edition of coconut flavored coffee for cold drinks. Light brown foam. The coconut smell is strong and immediately identifiable, even from afar. Very sweet aroma overall, with hints of vanilla and delicately roasted coffee. Dry and light-bodied, timidly bitter at the first taste, especially when drank hot, less so as a cold coffee. Weak crema. Nutty aftertaste, with a “burning” feeling left at the back of the mouth. It is a vague effect but peculiar. Not overtly sweet, more like a raw coconut than a sweetened coconut milk. Some woodiness and cereals can be tasted throughout the drinking experience, reminding of the exterior of a coconut. A low…

Italia Torta di Nocciole review
Light brown foam. Cereals, almonds and nutty aroma, intense and very sweet overall. At the first taste it’s an extremely dry cup when hot. Somewhat of a bitter aftertaste, very heavily leaning towards hazelnuts and walnuts. Thick crema, medium body. The tasting experience is much less sweet than the aroma, quite balanced instead between bitterness and sweetness. The roasted flavor, a bit salty in the aftertaste, covers most of the other flavors, among which the primary ones are hazelnuts, vanilla, walnuts and cereals. No acidity at all at high temperatures, only noticeable at medium-low ones. Blueberries-like acidity. The crema is long lasting. A medium roasted, intense and deliciously smelling capsule.

Italia Amaretti review
Light brown foam. Strong and intense almond aroma, with a pleasant sweetness. Very dry, not at all sweet, but neither bitter, at hot temperatures. Somewhat bland when very hot. Some almond bitterness emerges during the tasting, along with vanilla and malted cereals notes. Virtually no acidity, mostly covered by the sweet aroma and the feeble bitterness. A light roast, with the inherent coffee flavors mostly covered by the almond flavoring. Overall a light/medium bodied capsule, slightly bitter at the taste and quite sweet at the smell, possessing a feebly acidic aftertaste. A light cup, low intensity, for relaxing moments.

Vanilla Eclair review
Light brown foam. Very sweet aroma, clearly with vanilla qualities merging with a delicate roastiness. A dry cup, barely any acidity. Lightly roasted, medium body. Neither particularly sweet nor bitter at first, but more prominently sweet at medium to low temperatures. A mix of vanilla, cereals, biscuit-like and almond flavors. Overall a well-round, smooth cup, with an aromatic profile that it’s more than just of vanilla, as the name of the capsule would imply.

Caramel Crème Brûlée review
Light brown foam. Strong aroma of caramel, with hints of sweetened eggs, like in a proper crème brûlée. Quite burnt taste at first but not bitter. Not an unpleasant type of burnt. Low intensity and practically no acidity. Taste is less sweet than the aroma, with notes of vanilla and coconut. The actual flavor of crème brûlée comes out only at low or medium temperatures, making it a capsule to not be drank very hot. Medium bodied. Average intensity for a medium roasted cup of coffee.
