Filter Style Intense Review
Very light brown foam. Light aroma, mostly of cereals. Slightly roasted as well, hinting at sweetness in the coffee. Thin body, clearly one of the lightest bodied pods in the Nespresso line. Those used to drink espressos and the likes will find this pod watery. Body-wise it is indeed close to a typical filter coffee. Nearly no acidity nor sweetness at first, only a moderate amount of bitterness, concentrated in the aftertaste. Extremely weak crema, disappearing in a couple of minutes after the brewing. Filter Style coffee from Nespresso
One of the most curious releases so far from Nespresso are two new pods popping up in a few markets in the past weeks: Filter Style Mild and Filter Style Intense. The names are self-explanatory: these pods aim to reproduce a filter style coffee that so far seemed impossible to obtain with a Nespresso machine. We have not tested these pods yet so we can’t say if they reached their objective. They are curious though, for two reasons. One, they have a specific way to be brewed.
