Ispirazione Genova Livanto review
Origin: Arabica coffee from Brazil and from high-grown Central and South American countries Intensity: 6 Roasting: 3 Order: Buy Ispirazione Genova Livanto at Amazon Light brown foam. Sweet and delicate aroma of cereals and milk. Roasty notes are also prominent, making it a coffee with a very “breakfast-like” aroma. A light roasted pod, with a spumous crema that is quite persisting. A bit of acidity and bitterness that mix together equally. Gradually more acidic as the coffee cools down, which can make the acidity harsher, like grapefruits, rather than a gentler milk-like acidity. Weak aftertaste. Medium-low intensity. Quite a milky pod, with flavors and characteristics that remember a macchiato coffee.…

Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar review
Origin: a blend of Robusta and Latin American Arabica coffee Intensity: 12 Roasting: 5 Order: Buy Ispirazione Palermo Kazaar at Amazon Dark brown foam. Strong aroma, pleasantly of roasted cereals, with hints of sweetness. Heavy bodied, velvet mouthful. Largely bitter and nutty in the taste profile, with nuances of caramel and almond sweetness. Acidity present just in the aftertaste. A well, strong, rounded cup, with saltiness emerging at lower temperatures to provide a little surprise.

Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio review
Origin: 100% Arabica coffee from Costa Rica Intensity: 9 Roasting: 4 Order: Buy Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio at Amazon Light brown foam. Strong aroma of nuts/cereals, with sweet undertones. Medium body. Quite bitter, with virtually no acidity. Main flavour is a mix of chocolate and hazelnuts, with an overall pleasant mouthful. Bitter, somewhat nutty and “burnt”, aftertaste that lingers in the mouth for quite a long time. A dark but not extremely intense, chocolate-y cup of coffee. Compared to the previous Arpeggio, Ispirazione Firenze Arpeggio is darker, more bitter, with a more decidedly taste profile, less balanced. A bolder cup of coffee for a bold move from Nespresso in changing one…

Ispirazione Roma review
Origin: Arabica coffee from Brazil and Mexico with a touch of Robusta Intensity: 8 Roasting: 3 Order: Buy Ispirazione Roma at Amazon Brown foam. Nicely roasted, pungent, sweet aroma. Malty and cereals-like. Slightly acidic at first but more noticeable is the medium, smooth and creamy, body. Cocoa notes merge with cereals and woodiness. Persistent crema. Acidity subsides at lower temperatures, partly replaced by bitterness of dry cereals and woody notes, but remains in the aftertaste. Red fruits acidity. A complex cup, mixing nearly equally acidity, bitterness and a medium roastiness.

Flavoured capsules being revamped too
Soon, possibly by around mid February already, the flavoured capsules, Ciocattino, Vanilio and Caramelito will be revamped too, as recently happened to the Ispirazione Italiana new line. Nothing is known for certain so far but for the new names that will be: Ciocattino -> Cocoa Truffle Caramelito -> Caramel Crème Brulée Vanilio -> Vanilla Eclair It is possible that they will have a different taste as it is rumored they won’t be based off Livanto anymore but they will get their own blend.

Ispirazione Venezia review
Origin: a blend of a classic Brazilian Arabica with high-grown Arabica from Colombia and a washed Robusta from Africa. Intensity: 8 Roasting: 4 Order: Buy Ispirazione Venezia capsules at Amazon A revamped version of the Café Venezia of 2019, to join the Ispirazione Italiana line. Brown foam. Sweet, biscuit-like, aroma. A medium cup, not much acidic, no specific notes prevail but for a light biscuit/caramel flavour. Good intensity overall, a slightly bitter aftertaste. Somewhat salty too, especially at lower temperatures when the bitterness subsides. Quite a balanced cup, which sits in the middle of the Original Line offer with perhaps the hope to be appreciated by all types of coffee…
