Light brown foam. Sweet, strong, aroma. The smell is clearly of caramel, to the point that just from it the coffee could pass for a flavoured one.
Medium body, good intensity. Bitterness is present, along with high acidity. Cherries-like acidity dominates the tasting experience, with little sweetness and bitterness that subsides at lower temperatures. A dark roast for coffee beans that were originally highly acidic.
Capsules are fully compostable and all the coffee Sendero sells is ethically sustainable and sourced from smallholder, specialty grade, farms.
