Café Venezia review
- Origin: Ethiopian Arabica from the Harrar region mixed with Indian Arabica coffee.
- Intensity: 7
- Order: discontinued
A Limited Edition from 2018.
Light brown foam. A slight, nutty/flowery smell. It gets closer to a cereals aroma when smelled more attentively.
Very dry at taste, but overall a smooth cup. Slightly bitter. Acid.
During the tasting the flavours of fruit, flowers and cereals mix together to make it an interesting experience.

This was an amazing blend. Having spent 10 days in Venice I affirm that this blend was true to the taste of coffee there. It should become a regular. It’s too bad that Nespresso brings out great blends for a short period of time but doesn’t change their regular line up. I would like to continue to enjoy the Venezia blend ad infinitum!!
Nespresso Guide
We love Café Venezia too and we would love to see it be a regular, eventually. Nespresso policy is instead to have a bunch of limited editions that are available for a few weeks a year and the same regulars for years. Luckily often the limited ones return the next year or 2-3 years later so there’s always the chance to stock up again for longer.
Probably some blends have higher costs that don’t justify being made all year(s) unless they’re a great success.
