    Cape Town Envivo Lungo Review

The new 2021 blend for the classic Envivo Lungo that looks at Cape Town as inspiration for its renewed taste profile. Dark brown foam. Not a coffee with an intense aroma. At lower temperatures most of the characteristics of a dark roast and Robusta beans show: malt, wood, and bitterness prevail, little acidity, a strong, malty, aftertaste. A typical woody dryness becomes the major flavor as the coffee cools down. Malt,…

  • Rebranding coming for the Lungo capsules

Rumors have it that a new rebranding is coming for some capsules. This time, for the Lungo ones, Envivo, Fortissio, Vivalto and Linizio. They should be called: Cape Town Envivo Lungo Stockholm Fortissio Lungo Vienna Linizio Lungo Tokyo Vivalto Lungo Thus following the same mold of the Ispirazione Italiana, each of these capsules should become “inspired” by the cities in the name. The capsules will have a slightly different look, keeping only the same color as before. Update: the rebranding will also involve changing the taste profile of the capsules.

    Envivo Lungo review

Origin: dark roasted, washed, Robusta from Mexico along with Arabica from India. Intensity: 9 Bitterness: 4 Acidity: 1 Body: 4 Roasting: 4 Order: Buy Envivo Lungo capsules at Amazon Dark brown foam. Delightful roasted/woody aroma. A low acidity and medium bodied cup. Woody and cocoa flavours predominant, with bitterness that is at first balanced but more pronounced in the aftertaste. Some gingerbread can be discerned but we personally barely found it. A strong, dark roast with a wood/cocoa skew, for a medium cup.
