• Barista Flavoured Capsules

Vanilla Eclair, Caramel Crème Brûlée and Cocoa Truffle are available in most markets now

The new flavoured capsule line is being introduced as a revamping of the classic trio of Vanilio, Ciocattino and Caramelito, now officially starting their phasing out. Stock them as soon as possible if you love as there’s no guarantee the new ones will exactly replace their taste profile. Curiously the new capsules are grouped together the other Barista Creations lines released last year. That makes us think that the new blends are meant to be drank with milk, unlike the old ones.

  • Flavoured capsules being revamped too

Soon, possibly by around mid February already, the flavoured capsules, Ciocattino, Vanilio and Caramelito will be revamped too, as recently happened to the Ispirazione Italiana new line. Nothing is known for certain so far but for the new names that will be: Ciocattino -> Cocoa Truffle Caramelito -> Caramel Crème Brulée Vanilio -> Vanilla Eclair It is possible that they will have a different taste as it is rumored they won’t be based off Livanto anymore but they will get their own blend.

    Caramelito review

Origin: based off Livanto, it is a blend of Central and South American Arabica coffee. Intensity: 6 Bitterness: 3 Acidity: 3 Body: 3 Roasting: 3 Order: Buy Caramelito capsules at Amazon Light brown foam. Very sweet aroma. At the first taste, a dry and very light cup. Nearly no body. Low intensity, no acidity. Then as the taste progresses, the caramel flavour arise but it is not really noticeable, just a hint. It lacks any “butter” aspect of the proper caramel, being a light bodied cup. Inconsistent foam. A colder brew shows a component of bitterness more pronounced than in a hotter one, where the caramel overcomes it.
